 DUCANE
Grease is no problem when you're cooking on a Ducane gas grill. That's
because of their
unique patented stainless LA-VA-GRATE® which is made of two layers of v-shaped,
overlapping runners. In addition to holding PYROMID® briquettes, it forms a
grease barrier. Any drippings that get past the briquettes are stopped by the
stainless runners, so there is no collection of grease in the bottom of the
firebox. In addition to this "self-cleaning feature" of our LA-VA-GRATE®, the
drippings are immediately vaporized by the heat which adds rich barbecue flavor
to whatever you're cooking.
When it comes to rotissing, no one does it like Ducane. their Patented ROTIS-A-GRATE®
rotisses from behind the meat, not under it. Ducane's Open Flame Rotissing™ is
the "real
way to rotiss!" The vertical grate allows you to place the provided roasting pan
on the grill surface to catch the drippings. You can add seasonings to the pan,
and they'll self-baste your meat by vaporization. You just can't beat the
flavor. It is the fastest way to cook and keeps
meat juicy and tender.
Ducane's rotary ignition ignites the burners quickly and efficiently giving
you years of trouble-
free starts without having to fuss with matches. Certain conditions, especially
bright sunlight,
make it hard to be sure a gas grill is burning. Our VIS-U-GLO® flame safety
confirmation system eliminates the guesswork. This works by a nichrome wire
which is suspended in the grilling flame path. Even in the brightest sunlight,
the wire glows and can be observed through
the VIS-U-GLO® observation port.
